I teach violin and viola lessons for beginning through advanced students using Suzuki or traditional instruction methods. Lessons are taught at Hume Music in Topeka or at Murphy Hall on the KU Campus in Lawrence. Lesson fees are $15 per half hour, or $30 for an hour-long lesson.

Studio Policies and Rates

These are my lesson payment and rescheduling policies. If you have any questions or if anything is unclear please ask!

1. Lesson payments for the entire month are due at the first lesson of each month. If this is inconvenient, please talk to me about other arrangements. Lesson fees are $15 per half-hour. You may pay by cash or check (checks should be made payable to Ruth Kuefler).

2. If you are unable to make one or more lessons in a particular month, I will try to reschedule, but my availability is limited, especially during the school year. As long as you call or email at least one day in advance to cancel, you will not be charged for a missed lesson. If you must cancel the day of the lesson, please call my cell phone before your lesson time: 785-691-5945.

3. If I need to cancel a lesson, I will try to notify you as far ahead as possible and you will be credited if you have already paid.
